Hiya, it’s Margo!
Sydney Alger, who goes by “Hiya Margo” on social media, has been writing music since she was just 10 years old. Starting in her high school auditorium in Illinois, she has played across the country from the bars of Beale Street down to the Gulf Coast’s famous FloraBama.
She is known for her strong lyricism and impressive technical skill when it comes to her guitar, who she affectionately calls Ambrose. Always spotted with her sticker-covered case, Sydney is one of the Southeast’s rising stars in the songwriting scene.
